Day of Service and Fun on MLK Day

Open to potential Girl Scouts, grades K – 5

Join Girl Scouts  for a Day of Service and Fun! The free event, being held on Martin Luther King Day when children are out of school, is for girls who are interested in learning more about Girl Scouting.

Activities include Girl Scout games and songs, face painting, STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) experiments, with plenty of door prizes.  Participants are asked to bring non-perishable food item(s) for Second Harvest Food Bank and/or towels/blankets for the Louisiana SPCA.

Girl Scout registrations will be accepted at the event. Girl Scout membership is only $15 a year, but girls are never turned away for financial reasons.
