Mother/Daughter Sewing
Description:
For Girl Scouts in grades 4 - 12
Come learn how to sew with your mother, grandmother, aunt, or any other female adult over the age of 21. Each couple will learn the parts of the sewing machine and simple straight sewing. You will work together to make a small quilt.
Where: Program Center, GSLE Regional Service Center, 545 Colonial Dr., Baton Rouge, LA 70806
Cost: $10 per person ($20 per couple)
Capacity: Minimum 10 girls/10 adults - Maximum 15 girls/15 adults
Registration Opens: Now
Deadline: September 23, 2011 or when maximum capacity is reached.
Registration: Complete the GSLE Program Registration Event form for each individual and fax with credit card payment or mail with check or credit card payment to: Girl Scouts Louisiana East, 841 S. Clearview Parkway, New Orleans, LA 70121 / Fax: (504) 733-8219.

Notes: Each girl who registers for the program must have a female adult who registers and participates with her. No tagalongs. Bring a brown bag lunch and drink. Event will be cancelled if registration minimums are not reached.
