New Orleans Opera Association Night at the Opera Orientation

Description:
The New Orleans Opera Association has offered tickets to Girl Scouts to attend certain dress rehearsals for the 2011-2012 opera season. Each of these operas is very different in its presentation styles and will offer you a unique insight into the beauty of the world of opera. As a mandatory prerequisite for the performances the council is offering an opera orientation that will inform girls and leaders on what to expect when attending any of the opera performances. You will be advised on proper dress, etiquette, and a synopsis of the opera you will be attending. If you have attended a previous council-sponsored orientation, it is not necessary for you to repeat it. You may review the synopsis with your leader or parent/guardian instead. We hope to see you there as the red curtain rises!
