Girl Scout Brownies – Ambassadors
Earn your Hurricane Awareness Patch by participating in the Masters of Disaster Hurricane Awareness Day. Learn how to become prepared for the storm, how to protect yourself, your family and your community, by Being Red Cross Ready. Learn how weather forms into a tropical cyclone and then a hurricane, how to track a storm and how and when to evacuate or shelter in place. You’ll learn all this and much more when becoming a Master of Disaster in Hurricane Awareness.
Where: American Red Cross, Louisiana Capital Area Chapter, 4655 Sherwood Common Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA 70816
Cost: $5 per girl.
Capacity: Minimum 20, Maximum 50. If minimum participation is not reached, event will have to be cancelled.
