Travel the World at
GSLE Resident Camp 2014!

Join us for an extraordinary expedition during our 2014 Summer Resident Camp. Girl Scouts Louisiana East Resident Camp will offer girls insights into our unique world, exploring other cultures, developing friendships, new discoveries, and memories for a lifetime. Campers will participate in fun activities that vary based on session selection and weekly “world” theme. Activities may include canoeing, kayaking, swimming, horseback riding, building a raft, building a fire, Geo-caching, cooking in a box, investigating a mystery, taking pictures or taking a moonlit scavenger hunt.

As a council, our goal at camp is to provide an environment for girls to flourish by gaining new skills, building a sense of independence, actively engaging in camp community life, and appreciating the environment. She will return from camp knowing she is a capable, confident, strong Girl Scout. Chances are she will also be talking about the new skills she developed, the new friends she made, AND singing a lot of new silly songs on the ride home.
