2018 Product Recognitions
Not only does a troop earn $1 for every food item sold and 15% of the price of magazines sold online, girls also can earn some fun incentives including interlocking patches, plush animals, and more! All incentives are cumulative, giving girls the opportunity to earn each item as she reaches her goals.
Nutty Destinations is an award program for girls who participate and sell $1,000 of Fall Product in the 2018 Fall Product Program. Girl Scouts Louisiana East formed partnerships with local vendors, civic institutions and businesses to say “Thank You” to the girls and their families for their hard work and dedication to the Fall Product Program. Girls can choose their reward from 10+ opportunities; there’s lots of variety, so there’s sure to be something for everyone!

Grant being offered this year for up to $100! Up to five grants will
be awarded by the GSLE Product Program Team.
A Take Action project is a chance for girls to partner with others in their community to solve a problem. They learn about getting to the root causes of issues, mobilizing and engaging community members and volunteers, and working towards creating lasting change. Girls must also make sure each project is sustainable and that the impact is measurable.
Application Period (September 21 - October 31, 2018)
How to Apply:
Submit the following information by email to firstname.lastname@example.org:
1) Contact Person including Troop Number, Address, Phone, Email
2) Amount of Request (can request up to $100)
3) Estimated itemized budget
4) Description of planned project and people/community impacted
Recipients of funding agree to submit a short video (1-2 minutes) or photos that highlight the impact of their project. Videos and slideshows mat be highlighted and shared through the council's website or social media accounts.
