Open to girls, grades K-5 (Rising Cadettes, Cadettes and older can register to lead presentations!)

Come enjoy a day of STEM discovery and exploration at the Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory! Hands on activities and presentations as well as special speakers will have you looking at the world and the Universe in a whole new way!  Because Science! 

Cadettes and Seniors Become a STEM Leader! Come lead this event by training with  LIGO Staff on a STEM Project that you will then deliver to younger Girl Scouts at the event.

Time:  9 a.m. -  3 p.m.
Where: 19100 LIGO Lane, Livingston, LA 70754
Fee: $3 per girl
Capacity: MAX:300.  
Registration Instructions: You may register online for this activity by clicking here  or complete and return the GSLE Program Event Registration form and fees. Final confirmations along with event details as what can and should be brought will be emailed after registration is closed. 
Registration Opens: Now Deadline: Two weeks prior or when maximum capacity is reached

Notes: Girls should dress in comfortable clothes (Girl Scout shirts are encouraged). All groups should bring a brown bag lunch and enjoy a picnic on the grounds.
