LOOP NOLA Wetlands Ecology and Exploration
Open to girls, grades 3-5
Join the LOOP NOLA team for a day of exploration and education in the wetlands of City Park! Come canoe in the lagoons surrounding Couturie Forest and learn about the plants and animals that play a vital role in southeast Louisiana’s habitat. Participate in team-building games and activities directly relating to the ecology surrounding you. Through hands-on activities, you will experience methods commonly used in water quality testing and wetland conservation. Take this opportunity to explore a little used area of City Park and learn more about your role in protecting our wetlands! If this special date does not work for you, or it fills up quickly, please contact Heather West at firstname.lastname@example.org to establish your own troop outing.
