Juliette Gordon Low Leadership Luncheon

Girl Scouts Louisiana East will host the 2019 Juliette Gordon Low Leadership Luncheon at the Audubon Tea Room on October 31, 2019, beginning at 11:30am.

This annual event recognizes leaders who have made a positive impact on girls or women in our community. Best known as the founder of Girl Scouts of the USA, Juliette Gordon Low outgrew the trappings of an upper-class society life to create an organization for young women that integrated leadership, equality for all, self-confidence, responsibility, integrity, decision-making, teamwork, outdoor skills, and philanthropy. Girl Scouts of the USA continues Juliette’s legacy today by enabling girls to grow into responsible, caring, independent citizens.

Community leaders, organizations and businesses who exemplify her legacy will be honored at the Juliette Gordon Low Leadership Luncheon on her birthday, October 31.

Leading this year’s luncheon is WDSU Meteorologist Kweilyn Murphy.

New this year, the luncheon will feature a Silent Auction. Some featured items include:

Alexandra Clancy handbag
7-night stay at any RCI resort (worldwide)
Weather Kid for a Day at WDSU
Complimentary greens fees at Bayou Oaks at City Park
Family Membership to Audubon Nature Institute
...and so much more!
