Juliette Gordon Low Leadership Luncheon

Five community leaders, organizations and businesses who exemplify the legacy of Girl Scout founder Juliette  Low were honored at the 2018 Juliette Gordon Low Leadership Luncheon on her birthday, October 31. The awardees were:

Outstanding Woman : Helena Moreno, Councilmember-at-Large

Outstanding Man:
Marlin N. Gusman, Sheriff, Orleans Parish Sheriff’s Office

Outstanding Business/Foundation:
Shell, (Ron Stone, External Relations Advisor)

Outstanding Business/Educators:
100 Black Men of Metro New Orleans, Jonathan A. Wilson, President & Chairman of the Board

MINNIE FINLEY AWARD -  Recognizing a GSLE volunteer who also impacts the greater community.
Jacquelyn S. Daniels,  Former GSLE Board Chair

Girl Scout friends and supporters enjoyed meals catered by the Audubon Tea Room and were delighted with gracious words from each recipient. The luncheon concluded with a request for support by Ambassador Girl Scout Jordan of Troop 32021, who also shared her greatest adventures and explained how Girl Scouts made her the leader she is today.
