Learn like a Girl Scout, play like a Girl Scout, why not be a Girl Scout? Girl Scouts Louisiana East invites New Orleans girls, grades K through 6, to a fun filled game night at its Girl Scout Information Day on Wednesday, November 28 from 4-6 p.m. at Norman Mayer Library. 3001 Gentilly Blvd. New Orleans, 70122 in New Orleans.

The informational meeting will provide girls and their families the opportunity to ask questions and register their daughters in Girl Scouts. Girls will also play games and interact with current Girl Scouts. Adults interested in volunteering are encouraged to join.

“We are always excited to bring new girls into our troop and what better way to get to know them than with a game night,” said Taymika Byrd, External Recruiting Specialist. “We welcome girls of all backgrounds and interest, and we are committed to serving them in new and exciting future-focused ways to build female leadership.”

Girls can expect to discover new interests, connect with others, and take action on issues that are important to build a lifetime of leadership.

The annual Girl Scout membership fee is $25 for both girls and adults. Favorite activities include the outdoors, health and fitness, the arts, science and technology, travel, cookie-selling, and much more. For more information about the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, visit us here.

The Girl Scout program levels are Girl Scout Daisies, grades K-1; Girl Scout Brownies, grades 2-3; Girl Scout Juniors, grades 4-5; Girl Scout Cadettes, grades 6-8; Girl Scout Seniors, grades 9-10; Girl Scouts Ambassadors, grades 11-12.
