Girl Scouts Louisiana East unites the best of its legacy experiences in outdoor adventure, camping, and the cookie program with exciting programming in STEM, computer science, cybersecurity, engineering and more to ensure a one-of-a-kind experience for today’s girls. Angie girls in grades K through 12 are invited to join and learn more about the Girl Scout Leadership Experience on Wednesday, February 13 at 5:30 p.m. at the New Orleans Firemen’s Federal Credit Union, 205 Arkansas St, Bogalusa LA 70427.

The informational meeting will provide girls and their families the opportunity to ask questions and register their daughters in Girl Scouts.  Adults interested in volunteering are encouraged to join.

“We are unrivaled in our ability to deliver fresh, relevant and modern programming to girls, and it’s because we are girl-led,” said Girl Scouts Louisiana East External Recruiting Specialist, Kayla Tolar. “We’ve always gone where the girls have taken us for over a century.”

Girls can expect to discover new interests, connect with others, receive college prep and take action on issues that are important to build a lifetime of leadership.

The annual Girl Scout membership fee is $25 for both girls and adults. Favorite activities include the outdoors, health and fitness, the arts, science and technology, travel, cookie-selling, and much more. For more information about the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, visit www.gsle.org.
