Service Unit Team Trainings The Service Unit Team is the primary support for the geographic service unit. With such a vital role, we ask you to participate in one of two Service Unit Team Trainings being held in August to help create a solid support system with shared responsibilities. By attending one of these trainings, you will help to make any service unit function more smoothly – and make the Service Unit Adminstrator’s position easier!oth training dates/locations will offer the same opportunities. Service Unit Administrator, Consultant, and Recruiter will be offered as well as Darkness to Light (a new, required training for all 01/02′s focusing on child safety). Please take advantage of these training opportunities so your Service Unit Team can start the 2014-2015 Girl Scout year successfully!
When: Saturday, August 9, 2014 Alternative training is Aug. 16 at council headquarters in New Orleans. Time: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Lunch is included. Where: Regional Service Center, 545 Colonial Drive, Baton Rouge, LA 70806 Fee: Free unless you are taking the Darkness to Light training which is $10 per person.
Registration Instructions:Complete the Service Unit Team training registration form, indicating which trainings you will be taking and return with payment (if applicable) to Council Headquarters, 841 S. Clearview Parkway, New Orleans, LA 70121.
