Annual Family Giving Campaign

Girl Scout families are the backbone of Girl Scouting. We can’t stress enough how much we appreciate your support in creating an organization that builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.

Honor your Girl Scout Leader or Co-Leader with a Gift!

Every year we ask Girl Scout families to make a financial contribution to continue our wonderful programming and to keep our facilities in good condition. As you know, this investment in girls costs a significant amount of money. What you might not know is that it costs $299 per girl annually to provide materials, programs, training, and support for your Girl Scout and her troop leader. On top of that, we have what seems a never-ending list of projects to keep our camps safe, fun places. There is always a leaky roof or a broken fence somewhere, a pool that doesn’t want to hold water, or a freezer on the fritz.

Club 49.jpgThis year we’re introducing Club 49 – and we want you to join. For a donation of $49 or more, not only do you show your support for Girl Scouting, but you get a few nifty perks. Club 49 members receive:

• The quarterly newsletter,
• recognition in council publications,
• 1 complimentary girl admission per family to either the Fall Fest in November 2009 or Swing into Spring in March 2010*
• and breakfast with our CEO at a special donors’ event.

At your first Parents’ meeting, your Troop Campaign Manager is going to talk to you about the Annual Family Giving Campaign. Send in your donation today and you can tell them with a great deal of satisfaction that you already made your very important donation to Girl Scouts.

Thank you again for your support. We’re looking forward to a year of fun, friends and fabulous opportunities.
