Girl Scout councils across the United States have incorporated the Pocket Stew cookbook in outdoor trainings since the 75th Anniversary of Girl Scouting. The original edition of Pocket Stew was written as a birthday gift to Girl Scouts, including cooking recipes and styles that have hailed back to Girl Scouts’ earliest days. It is a cookbook written by Girl Scouts for Girl Scouts.
