Service Unit Summer Day Camp Training/Meeting
This meeting/training is for all Service Units interested in learning how to hold a day camp, but are not sure how to get started. Come hear from a Service Unit Day Camp Director who has held one for several years. Management team members are encouraged to attend in order to facilitate team building, staff training and update on procedures. Topics covered are: site selection, staff organization, office services, camp folder, registration, finance, statistics, objectives and highlights of last year's camps, concerns, program ideas, staff selection/recruitment/learning/ supervision, team initiatives, and additional resources.
Required for: Service Unit Day Camp Directors. Management team members are encouraged to attend.
Bring: Sack lunch. Drinks will be provided.

Large Event Training
Events are opportunities that Girl Scouts remember for a lifetime as they share activities with girls beyond their troop. At this training learn how to conduct a unit event with ease. Budgeting, program planning, delegating to others, insurance – becomes a breeze!
Suggested for: Service Unit Event coordinators, Event team members, or leaders and interested registered adults and girls (ages 14 and older) working with all levels of Girl Scouts that are planning a large event for a service unit.

Annual Giving Kick-off
This training will teach you how to plan an ask event for your Troop/Service Unit. The training covers the planning process, the actual event, and what takes place afterwards. Questions? Service Unit Administrator Training
The Service Unit Administrator Training is for all new and experienced Service Unit Administrators. This training is not for all service unit team members. We will cover the Service Unit Team job descriptions and functions, management of the service unit, and other key components to the Service Unit Administrator position. This training will be packed with information for you to take back and execute at the Service Unit level. We will explore the function of a service unit, the development and use of a community profile and the role of each service unit team position in the Service Unit Membership Plan. Please feel free to bring a snack or beverage. We will be providing water and coffee.
Required for: All new and existing Service Unit Administrators
Bring to training: Training Card, Pen, Paper to take notes, highlighter (if desired), Volunteer Essentials & Troop Module

Service Unit Team Training
This course is designed for all Service Unit Team members. Participants should expect to develop skills based on their specific Service Unit position. This training will be packed with information for you to take back and execute at the Service Unit level. We will explore the function of a service unit, the development and use of a community profile and the role of each service unit team position in the Service Unit Membership Plan. The day will include the following an Introduction and sharing of GSUSA’s new Volunteer Essentials and several breakout sessions with specific information for Service Unit team members. We will provide lunch (pizza) for the attendees. Attendees with special dietary needs should bring their own lunch.
Required for: All Service Unit Administrators, Registrars, Recruiters, Troop Organizers, Troop Consultants

Service Unit Cookie Management Training
This training helps prepare and update all area and service unit level administrative cookie volunteers, both new to the position and returning, for the upcoming Girl Scout Cookie Sale.
Required for: Area Cookie Managers, Service Unit Cookie Managers, Service Unit Managers, Cookie Cupboard Managers, Cookie Rally Directors. This is NOT for volunteers at the troop level - those trainings occur in the service unit in January.

Service Unit Publicity Representative Training
Learn how to initiate, handle, and coordinate publicity efforts with community newspapers and/or radio stations. Promote service unit and troop activities. Offer local support to publicity generated by Girl Scout Council's Communications Department for Council—wide events. Promote the positive image of Girl Scouts as the premier voice for girls and leading expert on their development into leaders.

Fall Product Service Unit Training
Find out how troops can earn start-up funds by participating in the Council-sponsored fall product sale. This training will help prepare service unit product sales managers, service unit managers and area product sales managers for the upcoming Girl Scout Fall Product Sale.
