Girls invited to attend Girl Scout Day Camp Tangi

Girls entering Kindergarten through 12th grade, are invited to register for Girl Scout Day Camp Tangi being held the week of July 9 -12 at Camp Whispering Pines in Independence.  Day camp is open to girls new to Girl Scouting as well as those already involved, and there will also be a pee wee and boys unit for children of full time volunteer staff.  Camp hours will be 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.

Activities for the Hollywood-themed camp include exploring the outdoors, arts and crafts, games, swimming, boating/canoeing, climbing the rock wall/high ropes course (older girls), and more. The cost is $50 per camper ($62 for non Girl Scouts which includes a $12 national membership fee) with reduced rates for children of full time volunteers, $10 for a camp T-shirt, and $20 for bus pick-up (if needed) at Hammond Square Mall.
