Girl Scouts Louisiana East to benefit from Painting with a Purpose, March 24-25

Corks and Canvas and Painting with a Twist have teamed up for a day of Painting with a Purpose on March 24-25, to celebrate 100 years of Girl Scouting.  Fifty percent of the proceeds will be donated to the local council, Girl Scouts Louisiana East. The event is open to the public, with registration occurring through each of the participating locations. Children, under 21, are welcome, but must be accompanied by a parent.


Times and locations on Saturday, March 24 are from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.: Painting with a Twist, 204 E.Thomas St., Hammond.


Times and locations on Sunday, March 25 are from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.: Painting with a Twist, 488 Corporate Dr. Suite 3, Houma; 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.: Corks n Canvas, 2689 Florida St., Mandeville; 2- 4 p.m.: Painting with a Twist, 17535 Airline Hwy., Suite I, Prairieville; 2 – 5 p.m.: Painting with a Twist, 2132 East Gause Blvd., Slidell; Corks n Canvas, 711 Jefferson Hwy. Suite 3A, Baton Rouge; Corks n Canvas, 4524 Magazine St., New  Orleans, and 7 – 10 p.m.: Corks n Canvas, 119 Focis St., Metairie.
