It's not too late to sign up for resident camp this summer!

Resident camp spaces are still available at Camp Whispering Pines (CWP) and Camp Marydale, but are filling up quickly! This year's international staff include camp counselors from the United Kingdom, Columbia, The Netherlands, Ukraine and Thailand! To check out resident camp session information at CWP, click here. Camp Marydale resident camp information is available here.

Exciting new programs at camp are being planned! Make sure to visit the new website for important dates and fun programs for all. The annual Me and My Pal weekend at CWP was such a success that we are planning three more for the upcoming year! Make sure to always turn in forms ASAP as programs sometimes fill up before the published deadline!

Girl Scouts National Council Session/51st National Convention

The 2008 Girl Scout National Council Session/ 51st Convention will take place from October 30-November 2, 2008 in Indianapolis, Ind. This event takes place every three years and is the largest event on the Girl Scout calendar! More than 14,000 girl and adult members and nearly 200 exhibitors and sponsors will converge for the event, each committed to developing girls' leadership skills.

During this event, the National Council of Girl Scouts will make important decisions critical to the continued success of the organization. We will celebrate the dramatic changes and accomplishments of the Movement, since initiating a new business strategy in 2004.
