Service Unit 118’s service unit campout – Camp St. Nick – was a weekend to remember beginning with a fun evening of snow Friday night! The girls went for a night hike, had a snowball fight, and made snowmen followed by a big slumber party in the dining hall.
Saturday the girls decorated stockings to fill with candy to donate to Hope Ministries, collecting 165 pounds of candy. The Cadettes cut paper snowflakes Friday night and hung them like trail blazes along the Eagle Walk to create a “snowflake hike” for the Brownies.
The girls also rode horses, went canoeing, did archery, and enjoyed the challenge course. And of course, braved the below freezing temps overnight!
