Lace up your sneakers- it is time for Louisiana’s first Thin Mint Sprint 5K and one-mile Daisy Dash fun run. Races will be Sunday, June 2, 2013 in beautiful New Orleans City Park.  The 5K and 1-mile fun run are open to the public.

Celebrate by putting your best self forward! Thin Mint Sprint is a lot more than a running program. Embrace the power of you, with healthy choices inside & out. Be stronger, faster, and define what a strong, courageous girl is - 2013 & beyond.

5K run (Thin Mint Sprint) 3 loops on the new Festival Grounds track. Early Registration Fee: $20; Late Registration: $30 after 5/20/13; Day of Race Registration: $35. Family rate available until May 20 only: $60.

1 mile fun run (Daisy Dash) Early Registration Fee: $10; Late Registration: $20 after 5/20/13; Day of Race Registration: $25. Family rate available until May 20 only: $40.

All registered runners will receive a race t-shirt, access to the post-race celebration. Registered Girl Scouts (ages 5-18) will also receive a race patch.

Sunday, June 2, 2013

7 - 8:30 a.m. - Packet pickup and on-site registration
8 a.m. - Opening ceremonies
8:30 a.m. - One-mile Daisy Fun Run begins
9 a.m. - Thin Mint Sprint 5K begins!
10 a.m. - Awards Ceremony and Post Race Celebration
