Leaders' Lagniappe Weekend

Lagniappe Weekend, originally scheduled for the third weekend in October, has been postponed due to low registration, and has been rescheduled for February 25-27, 2011. All registered Adult members are invited to attend this fun filled weekend! Whether you are looking to brush up on certain skills, meet new friends, or relax at Camp Marydale, you will not be let down! We will have canoeing workshops, outdoor cooking classes, Challenge Course Experience, Archery, Copper Enameling, and a variety of enrichment workshops for leaders such as traditions, songs and games, ceremonies, and budget building! Each workshop will be 90 minutes long (with the exception of Outdoor Cooking). Participants do not have to be camp certified to attend this event!

Participants Schedule

Friday, February 25:

5 – 7 p.m.             Check In

7 - 7:30 p.m.         Welcome and Introduction

7:30 p.m. till          All Camp Campfire and S'mores!

Participants should bring a sack dinner or eat prior to arrival.

Saturday, February 26:

7 – 8:30 a.m.         Check In for Sat-Sun and Sat. only participants                              Breakfast

8:30 - 9 a.m.          Welcome

9 a.m. – 12 p.m.     Workshops or activities

12 - 1 p.m.             Lunch

1 - 5 p.m.               Workshops or activities

5:30 – 6:30 p.m.     Dinner

6:30 p.m. till           Evening activity

7:30 p.m.               Saturday only participants depart

Sunday, February 27:

7:30 - 8:30 a.m.     Breakfast

8:30 - 10:30 a.m.    Workshop/Activity

10:30 - 11 a.m.       Closing

11 a.m.                  Check out & Depart
