Girl Scout Day at the Baton Rouge Zoo
Open to all Girl Scouts and their families, grades K – 12
Fee: $8 for registered Girl Scouts, $9 for non-Girl Scouts
The event and activities are open for girls of all ages, but only Girl Scout Juniors will receive badges. Some activities might relate to other age level badge requirements, as determined by troop leaders. The zoo's education department will hold animal ambassador discussions at the Capital One Pavilion at 11:30am and 1:30pm.
Fee includes Zoo admission and badge programming as well as an Animal Habitats badge for all attending Girl Scout Juniors.
Participants who are able to enter the Zoo through their membership or other promotional method, badges will be available on location for $5 each. Those not registered at the discounted price by the deadline can still attend and purchase normal tickets at the door. Badges will be available on location for $5 each.
All COVID-19 safety protocols will be in place to include: Masks must be properly worn at all times, socially distance, wash your hands and sanitize them regularly, only travel/transport with “quarantine families”, do not share food or other items. Everything must be individually packaged/pre-packaged and there should be no communal food or other items.
