Annual Family Giving
The Annual Family Giving Campaign
The Annual Family Giving Campaign is an opportunity for families and friends of Girl Scouts to make a financial contribution directly benefiting our girls. As a member of our Girl Scout family, you know how important Girl Scouting is to our girls, their families, and the community. Girls need a place where they can just be girls — having fun, making friends, and feeling safe. Girl Scouting provides girls with the skills to face daily challenges and make sound decisions that affect them today and in the future.
Your gift to AFGC stays right here in our council and helps provide:
Maintenance for camp and program facilities that provide a safe environment for learning and growing.
Financial assistance for girls who might otherwise not be able to participate in Girl Scouts.
Council programs for girls of all ages where they can discover new ideas and activities, connect with others, and take action to make the world a better place.
Support the Annual Family Giving Campaign
Supporting the Annual Family Giving Campaign is a great way to ensure that all girls who want to be a part of Girl Scouts are able to do so. Please know that any size gift is appreciated and will make a difference. To give, please download the Annual Family Giving Pledge Form. Gifts may be mailed to your local service center. Or you may click on the donate button to make a secure online donation.
As an extra incentive, we are offering a very special philanthropy patch for each contribution of at least $15 per household.
When your Service Unit meets or exceeds its goal, your Service Unit will be:
Rewarded…Communities will receive a free community encampment at one of the following: Camp Covington, Camp Marydale, or Camp Whispering Pines. Unit Fees will be waived. All other fees apply, i.e. activity and facilitator fees, food, etc. Camp vouchers will be kept in house.
AND Recognized! ….At the annual Adult Recognition event, on our social media pages, and listed on the council website. Your community will also meet the criteria for the fund development portion of the President’s Award.
