Potential Girl Scouts invited to Eggstravaganza, April 13


Girls entering or presently in Kindergarten are invited to “hop on over” to the Girl Scouts regional office in Baton Rouge for an Easter Egg Hunt, followed by a Girl Scout Daisy activity. The Eggstravaganza is set for Saturday, April 13, at 11 a.m. at Girl Scouts Louisiana East, 545 Colonial Drive, Baton Rouge. To ensure there’s enough eggs, please pre-register for the hunt at http://bit.ly/EggsApril13  For more information, contact event coordinators Jelisa Burney at 225-364-3277 or jburney@gsle.org, or Chelsea Grant at 225-439-3105 or cgrant@gsle.org.

 Whether its planting a garden, conducting a science experiment, or just making new friends, participation in Girl Scout Daisies provides kindergarteners and first graders endless girl-led possibilities. Annual membership is $25 for girls and adults, but an extended membership option of $35 is available for a limited time which extends membership through September 2020.  General information about joining the Girl Scouts is available at www.gsle.org and girls may register to become Girl Scouts at the event.
