Back to Basic Week 1: June 6-11
Join us at Camp Marydale for Back-to-Basics Summer Resident Camp session(s) throughout the months of June and July. Space is limited for campers currently in grades 1-12.
Campers will enjoy arts and crafts, horseback riding, boating, outdoor cooking, and nature, all while making new friends. While camp modifications will be in place as we continue to combat the spread of COVID-19, girls should come ready to play, explore, discover, and make lifelong memories. Girls will participate in activities with their cohorts, we will use eco-friendly disposable products, and even learn how to compost and recycle to be good stewardesses of the land.
Brownie Girl Scouts will also: Take a pony ride, canoe, make new friends.
Junior Girl Scouts will also: Ride a horse, canoe/kayak, practice archery skills
Cadette/Senior/Ambassador Girl Scouts will also: Take a trail ride, sleep in a hammock under the stars for a night, learn advanced outdoor cooking techniques
We know parents and guardians have a lot to consider during this time, but please know there is nothing GSLE takes more seriously than the safety and wellbeing of our girls, volunteers and staff. We are listening to experts, taking the necessary precautions, and implementing protocols in order to provide the safest possible experience at our beloved Camp Marydale this summer.
