Open to girls, grades 4-8, adults

Juniors come to discover all the cool things about animal habitats! Girls will learn how to protect the environment while spending time indoors and outdoors.

Does your Junior have friends interested in becoming to Girl Scouts, they can sign up too. We are offering Cadettes to sign up as well - just for fun. Each Girl Scout has to have a designated adult for the event (example, 5 girls associated with a troop needs at least one Troop Volunteer to attend with them).

The Bluebonnet Swamp Nature Center provides the means for people to make meaningful, lasting connections to nature through environmental education and recreation opportunities while also exploring the relationship between people and Bluebonnet Swamp Conservation Area landscapes and how they have and continue to influence each other.

Girls should bring a daypack with a water bottle, sunblock, wet wipes or hand sanitizer, and bug spray (hats and sunglasses are optional). Everyone attending should wear comfortable clothes and closed-toed shoes suitable for hiking.
