One of the few organizations that is girl-focused and girl-driven, Girl Scouting is a unique girl-only place where a girl finds:
The Girl Scout Leadership Experience helps girls discover themselves and their values; connect and team with others, and take action to make the world a better place. Membership in Girl Scouts is open to girls in grades K – 12 who accept the Girl Scout Promise and Law; women and men 18 and older can join as adult members.
Girl Scout Promise
On my honor, I will try:
To serve God and my country,
To help people at all times,
and to live by the Girl Scout Law.
I will do my best to be
honest and fair,
friendly and helpful,
considerate and caring,
courageous and strong, and
responsible for what I say and do,
respect myself and others,
use resources wisely,
make the world a better place, and
be a sister to every Girl Scout.
Membership is $15 per year for girls and adults; a Girl Scout uniform is not required. No girl will be denied membership in Girl Scouts for financial reasons.
