Full Time Employment Opportunities
The Development Director assists in providing for the sustainability of Girl Scouts Louisiana East through specific Fund Development projects. The focus of this position is on generating and maintaining strategic community and regional business collaborations and alliances in order to facilitate financial contributions from corporate and major private business entities, in addition to managing the GSLE Annual Family Giving campaign as well as two luncheon events. This position will work as part of a team to meet departmental goals.

The Communications Manager is responsible for helping to increase the positive visibility of Girl Scouts within the council’s jurisdiction and to develop, build and maintain the brand and image of the council. The manager creates, implements, and manages strategies for public relations and media/marketing campaigns to promote Girl Scouting to internal and external audiences; builds relationships within the community; and utilizes various forms of media, including social media, to achieve the council’s goals.

Executive Assistant (working in New Orleans headquarters)
The Executive Assistant provides a wide variety of essential administrative and support services to the Chief Executive Officer. She/he coordinates the work of the CEO, Board of Directors, and Board Development and Nominating Committee using initiative and interpersonal skills within the scope of assigned authority. The Executive Assistant maintains and protects Council operations by safeguarding confidential information and conveying information with discretion.
