Recognizes outstanding service above the expectation of the position while partnering directly with girls in any pathway to implement the Girl Scout Leadership Experience using National Program portfolio.

Appreciation Pin form

Recognizes an individual’s exemplary service in support of delivering the Girl Scout Leadership Experience. This service, which has had measurable impact on one geographic area of service, helps the council reach and surpass its mission-delivery goals for that area.

  • 3 Endorsement Letters

Honor Pin form

Recognizes an individual’s exemplary service in support of delivering the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, which has had measurable impact on two or more geographic areas of service, allowing the council to reach and surpass its mission-delivery goals.

  • 3 Endorsement Letters

Thanks Badge I form

Honors an individual whose ongoing commitment, leadership, service have had an exceptional, measurable impact on meeting the mission delivery goals & priorities of the Council or the entire GS movement.

  • 4 Endorsement Letters

Thanks Badge II form

Honors a previous Thanks Badge recipient who has continued to provide exemplary service in a leadership role, resulting in a measurable impact
that benefits the entire Girl Scout Movement.

The Volunteer Years of Service Pin form
Recognizes an adult member registered with Girl Scouts of the U.S.A. for her/his years of active volunteer service at five-year intervals (5, 10, 15, etc.). This pin differs from the numeral guard in that it represents the number of years an adult volunteer has actively provided service, whereas the numeral guard recognizes years of membership. 

Please note: 20 years or more are presented at the Annual meeting 
5 , 10, and 15 years are presented at the Service Unit level.

Outstanding Volunteer form
Recognizes an adult volunteer whose performance in working with girls is so outstanding that it merits recognition by the Service Unit or program delivery group.

Items needed:

  • 2 Endorsement letters

Service Unit to purchase pins, while supplies last, for $4.00

Green Angel form
Recognizes a volunteer who may not be a leader/co-leader who has provided significate time, knowledge, programming, expertise of subject matter to girls at the Troop or Service Unit level.  Merits recognition by either Troop or Service Unit.
