Annual Family Giving provides an opportunity for families and friends of GSLE to make an investment directly benefiting our girls. As a member of our GSLE family, you know how important Girl Scouting is to girls, their families, and their communities. We believe girls need a safe place where they can just be girls — having fun, making friends, and serving their communities.
Each year, GSLE invests an average of $383 in every Girl Scout it serves above and beyond the revenue it receives from the sale of cookies and fall product. While the Product Program and program fees contribute significantly to funding this work, net proceeds cover only about half of the Council's operating budget. Therefore, each and every Girl Scout’s experience is subsidized by the generosity of donors. When you participate in AFG you have the satisfaction of knowing you are taking steps to ensure the Girl Scout Experience is possible for all girls in our Council. And 100% of your contribution stays within our Council, whereas an annual membership fee goes directly to Girl Scouts of the USA.
Annual Family Giving is about participation at whatever level feels meaningful to a Girl Scout family.
Help support our efforts by making a gift today. Our goal for 2026 Annual Family Giving is $25,000. Gifts can be made directly online. A gift of $25 is encouraged per family to help us meet our goal! If you wish to designate your gift to a specific troop or service unit, please indicate the information in the comment box section of the donation form.
