Elect officers, Directors at large, members of the Board Nominating and Development Committee; and every three years, the delegates and alternates to the National Convention.
Consider any proposed amendments to the bylaws.
Consider any other business appropriate to come before the corporation in accordance with the process established by the Board of Directors.
Influence the strategic direction of the Movement by providing guidance to the National Board.

Financing for Girl Scouts Louisiana East comes from voluntary philanthropic contributions, the cookie and fall product sales, the sale of Girl Scout merchandise, fees for events, troop and resident camps, and United Way allocations in selected parishes.

The Annual Report reflects the positive impact Girl Scouting has on the girls of southeast Louisiana.

The GSLE Property Master Plan is the culmination of a months-long endeavor to begin making upgrades to the Council's two camp properties: Camp Marydale and Camp Covington.
