GSLE is offering a 2025 Summer Reading Club program where girls can
earn a fun patch just for reading! GSLE Daisy - Ambassador Girl Scouts
are welcome to participate.
To earn the patch, girls need to:
1. Read for at least 20 hours total between May 24th - August
3rd.
2. Read at least 2 books from the Reading List (see below -
borrowed from Girl Scouts of the Southern Appalachians) during that
timeframe (check out your local parish library for books or see about
getting book loans from surrounding parishes).
3. Purchase your
patch at the GSLE Shop. Please call the Shop at 504-733-8220, option 3
to let them know when you are coming by. If you want the patch mailed
to you, contact the Shop for details about shipping costs.
4.
Registration is free. Send us your information so we know how many
girls are participating.
