Open to girls, grades, K-5, adults
GSLE is happy to announce we are partnering with Swamp Lotus for a workshop focusing on nature, and the importance of outdoor time, as well as unplugging from technology and busy schedules.
Daisys, Brownies, Juniors, and their troop leaders/caregivers will be immersing themselves in our local environment. The program's guided activities focus on the senses and mindfulness, as well as an enthusiasm for play and exploration in nature that children enjoy.
Swamp Lotus programs promote mental and physical wellness while reconnecting with nature. A unique way to experience nature!
The program is 1.5 hours and costs $25 per Daisys, Brownies, and Juniors. There is no cost for the troop leaders/caregivers. Girl Scout's siblings may attend at a cost of $12 a person (siblings must be at least 5 years old).
This event gives girls the opportunity to work on Girl Scouts badges
related to Outdoors: Environmental Stewardship,
Naturalis, Trail Adventure, etc. (badges are not
included in the price of the event).
