Open to girls, grades 4-12
Sewing, a valuable skill to learn! During this camp Girl Scouts will learn how to use a sewing machine as they create handcrafted pillowcases, drawstring bags and other projects. They will also learn the craft of sewing by hand for small projects like sewing on buttons.
Girls will complete a service project activity in which they will donate one of the drawstring bags to a local organization. They are encouraged to bring items such as book, colors, personal items, etc. to fill the bags.
Girls get to keep their handmade creations. We will provide sandwich lunches with a variety of healthy sides. This event is for Juniors and above (4th graders and above for the 2025-2026 school year). We are looking for some adults to help with the event.
