Trailblazers/Mariners are headed to Region 2!
We will be visiting the Jean Lafitte National Historical Park & Preserve, Wetlands Acadian Cultural Center in Thibodaux. Girl Scouts from Thibodaux, Houma and surrounding areas want to invite you to their neighborhood.

Discover the Trees of the Bayou side (learn to identify species of trees found along Bayou Lafourche and common to southeast Louisiana. Research ways that trees provide people with life and livelihoods, through a tree hike, and scientific explorations - covers some of the Cadette Tree badge steps as well as some of the steps of the Ecology badges for C,S,A's.

This event is part of the: Trailblazer/Mariner programs that will be scheduled every month. We will alternate locations across all four GSLE regions. That way, girls can share their region's beloved spots with other troops across our council area as well as explore the places their GSLE girl scout sisters call home.

Activities will include hiking, kayaking, team-building exercises, exploring Louisiana's cultural treasures and natural wonders, and more.
