Membership Development Specialist, Baton Rouge - The Membership Development Specialist is responsible for supporting, promoting, developing and maintaining effective recruiting strategies to increase awareness and participation in Girl Scouting. This position performs duties relating to a variety of in-person meetings, presentations, and networking opportunities in support of Membership initiatives and Council goals. The position is responsible, in partnership with Service Unit Volunteers, to support the retention of adult volunteers and girl members in assigned geographic areas, maintaining partnerships to assist volunteers, and maintaining the positive brand and image of Girl Scouts (GS) and the GS Louisiana East Council (Council).
