The Catholic Committee for Girl Scouts for the Archdiocese of New
Orleans is under the direction of the CYO/Youth & Young Adult
Ministry office and oversees the Catholic religious recognition program
supplied by the National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry. Awards
are available for girls in all program levels.
Adult counselor guidance is needed to complete a book of written and activity requirements. This is best done with a group, but girls may work individually. Cost per girl is $30 - book, medal, patch and awards ceremony with the bishop.
The awards ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, May 2, 2026 at 10 a.m. in St. Martin de Porres (formerly Transfiguration of the Lord) Church, 5621 Elysian Fields Ave., New Orleans.
