Open to registered adults
Camping Refresh is an in-person session at a council camp or other council venue. This is a condensed version of Basic Camp Training. This session is only open to volunteers who have taken Basic Camp Training (the overnight course) or Advanced Camping within the last 5 years.
Course topics will include outdoor skills which include safety, fire building, outdoor cooking methods, cleaning, and care of campsites.
Must renew every 5 years by retaking this course OR attending Basic Camp Training OR completing Advanced Camp Training.
Basic Camping facilitators will not approve participants completion
of session if the participant does not follow the safety guidelines,
has not retained the information, or has not taken the overnight Basic
Camping course.
