Catholic Girl Scouts in the Archdiocese of New Orleans are invited to earn their Girl Scout Religious Award.
Contact committee chair, Gloria St. Pierre, at gloriastpierre@gmail.com for more info and to register for a workshop on March 21st, March 28th, or April 4th. The sessions will start at 10 am Our Lady of Divine Providence Church, 8617 W. Metairie Ave., Metairie, LA 70003, Louisiana.
The cost per girl is $30 - book, medal, patch, awards ceremony and complimentary photo of medal presentation. Payment is to the CYO office, 2241 Mendez Dr., New Orleans, LA 70122. The books are picked up there or at the workshop.
The Awards Ceremony will take place on Sat., May 2, 2026 at 10 AM, St. Martin de Porres Church in New Orleans. The Ceremony involves all levels of Girl Scouts USA, American Heritage Girls, Cub Scouts and Scouting America members. It is organized by the CYO/Young Adult Ministry of the Archdiocese.

NOTE: This workshop is not required to earn the award, books can be completed by girls with their families or troops, then submitted to the committee for review. Also, the Committee is willing to plan a workshop for a day that's convenient for your troop. Gloria can give you more information.
