Open to girls, grades 6-12 (Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors) and adults
6th-12 graders (for the 2026-2027 school year) can sign up to attend for the CSA summer day field trips. Participants will be responsible for their own transportation to and from the events.
On June 8th we will meet at the Loop Nola (New Orleans) to participate in the High Ropes Course.
The High Ropes course allows participants to engage in an individual physical and mental challenge with the support of the rest of the group. The High Ropes elements are approximately 30 feet tall, and participants have the option to climb as high as they feel comfortable. Prior to climbing, participants would be taught how to use their helmet and harness and safety standards for the course. Our elements range in physical and mental difficulty so that most participants are able to have a fun level of challenge. Throughout the climbing activities, LOOP NOLA staff members would be belaying for the participants while they climb and would be maintaining the safety standards of the course.
There will be a $38.00 registration fee for girls to attend the June 8th event, which secures their spot and includes the Climbing badge. If adults want to do the High Ropes course as well they need to register for $32.
We need a minimum of 10 participants to hold the event; we need those registrations by the deadline date. There is no refund for this event. If needed, registrations can be transferred to someone else.
In order to give more space for girls for the tour, there is a limit of 1 adult for an individual girl's registration. If more than one girl attends from a specific troop, there is a limit to 2 adults to register for that event. Please note--adult spots are first come first serve.
