Open to girls, grades K-12, adults
Join us at the Louisiana Art and Science Museum for this special Girl Scout Field Trip! Attend with your troop, individually, or bring a friend! Get registered now, spots are limited!
11am-3pm, bring your own picnic lunch, fruit and light snacks will be provided. Thanks to a special grant from the Lamar Family Foundation, there is no charge to attend this event, but registration is required and spots are limited. Girls must be checked in by 11:15 to participate.
Adult Chaperones will be assigned groups of girls to lead through the event and lead through different activities. Any parent or leader who does not wish to be a chaperone is able to purchase a ticket to visit the museum on their own or visit the surrounding areas and return by 2:30 for pickup.
Open to girls K-12. Enjoy a Planetarium show, discover the interactive gallery, explore the STEAM Station, and so much more! Girls will experience guided activities and informative presentations that will keep them in awe!
Girl Scout Seniors and Ambassadors are encouraged to participate as group leaders to earn their Silver or Gold Torch Award. Earning the Torch award for your program level opens the door to the Highest Awards. Once you earn this award, you've fulfilled the prerequisite and are ready to start your Silver or Gold Award.
