On June 22nd we will meet at Nicholls State University for a tour of the campus and visit Dr. Timothy Clay's lab. CSA (Cadettes Seniors & Ambassadors) that have in interest in biology, conservation, reptiles, research - this event is for you! Participants provided their own transportation to and from the event.

Let's learn about our coast with Dr. Clay, Associate Professor, Department of Biological Sciences at Nicholls State University. Snakes are not the only Diamondbacks! Dr. Clay and his staff study the Diamondback Terrapins (turtles). Girl Scouts will learn how research and outreach of Diamondback Terrapins, including adults and hatchlings, is protecting this important coastal species.

In order to give more space for girls for the tour, there is a limit of 1 adult for an individual girl's registration. If more than one girl attends from a specific troop, there is a limit to 2 adults to register for that event. Please note--adult spots have first come first serve.

There is a $5 nonrefundable fee to secure the girl spots. No fee for the adults attending with them. (Contact Tracy if your Girl Scout cannot attend or if you want to transfer her registration to someone else).
