Open to girls, grades 8-12
This workshop will be available to 8th - 12th grade Girl Scouts. Girl Scouts will experience an elevated, hands-on interior styling experience designed for Girl Scout Seniors preparing dorm living and independent spaces. Check out Kelsey's website at https://www.designsbythierry.com/
The workshop blends design education, leadership thinking, and
creative execution. Participants will explore how color, texture,
measurement, and intentional decision-making influence mood,
productivity, and confidence, and apply these concepts through both a
mock room makeover activity and hands-on pillow creation that girls
take home.
The full 90-minute experience will be $45 per Girl
Scout and includes all materials, a custom 18x18 decorative pillow,
and a printed Mini Design Guide.
Girls will have the opportunity to experience these skills firsthand: Leadership & presentation skills, creative & critical thinking, problem-solving & budget decision-making, measurement & spatial reasoning (STEM-aligned), personal expression & confidence, independent living preparation.
Have a friend who is not a Girl Scout (yet??), invite them to sign up too. Please note the Room Maker badge is not included in the registration fee.
A minimum of 10 participants is required to hold the session. Paid registrations need to be received by April 2nd. If we receive the minimum registration by April 2, we can open up then more spots for this workshop.
