Open to girls, grades 6-12, adults
Cadettes, Senior, Ambassadors, and Adult Volunteers who volunteer
for Saturday's MLK event at Tickfaw have the opportunity to expand
their weekend by signing for tent camping Saturday and Sunday night.

Tents are required. The council has some tents that can be borrowed
on a first-come, first-served basis.
Our tentative schedule:
Saturday (immediately following service project):
- 3 pm - 5 pm--fun and games, and tent set up
- 5 pm -
8 pm--supper and showers
- 8 pm - 9 pm--Smores and work on
outdoor badge requirements (like Sky, Trees, etc.)
- 9 pm -
10 pm--free time before bedtime
Sunday:
- 7 am - 9 am--breakfast for those who spent the night,
practice outdoor cooking skills
- 10 am - 12
pm--opportunities to complete some steps for outdoor skills badges
like Trail Adventure, hiking and trailblazing, nature and
camper.
- 12 pm - 1 pm--light lunch
- 1 pm - 3
pm--choose between hiking and canoeing/kayaking.* If you choose
kayaking contact Tracy about the guidelines and fees for this
activity.
- 3 pm - 5 pm--fun and games
- 5 pm - 8
pm--supper and showers
- 8 pm - 9 pm--fire circle and songs
(may fulfill some requirements for Girl Scout Way
badge)
- 9 pm - 10 pm--free time before bedtime
Monday:
- 7:30 am - 9 am--free style breakfast
- 9 am - 11
am--enjoy the park, pack up and load out
CSA and adults can spend one night or two (same price either way).
