Thank you for volunteering to make a difference in the lives of
girls. Volunteers make up the backbone of Girl Scouting, and we
couldn't do it without you. You are not alone. The structure of the
Girl Scout Council is designed to provide you with the support and
help you need to do your job.
Forms, Publications, and other Resources
Volunteer Toolkit is a digital resource that
supports the troop leadership team, making the process of running a
troop easier and more efficient. It is accessible via the MYGS portal. Be sure to also check out
the Resource page
in the VTK, filled with lots of handy tips and GSUSA/GSLE resources.
The Girl Scout Essentials catalog has everything for Girl Scout girls and adults. Click on the catalog and use the left and right arrows to scroll, or use the search icon to find an item and zoom icon to see the catalog in greater detail. You can click on an item within the catalog to go directly to that product page for more details.
Safety Activity Checkpoints offers in-depth safety guidelines and tips that adult volunteers use for Girl Scout sports and actvities, ranging from canoeing to surfing to selling cookies. Girls can use these checkpoints to plan a girl-led activity.
The Blue Book of Basic Documents is published by Girl Scouts of the USA and includes the national constitution, by-laws, policies, and credential information.
