Basic Camping is an in-person-overnight-session at a council camp. Course topics include health and safety considerations for camping with groups, group dynamics in the out-of-doors, progression, program and environmental activities, outdoor skills (including safety, fire building, outdoor cooking methods, cleaning and care of campsites, etc.) and minimal impact camping.
Preregistration is required! Must renew every 5 years-retake this course OR complete Advance Camp Training.
