Join us for Girl Fest: Girl Scout Family Day 2026 at the historic Audubon Zoo (New Orleans)! This exciting event is open to all Girl Scouts, their families, and any girls interested in learning more about Girl Scouts USA.
Enjoy a day filled with:
*Special badge activity stations throughout the Zoo
*Opportunities to sample Girl Scout programs
*Family fun exploring the Zoo's exhibits
GSLE will provide digital packets with instructions for badge-related activities. Caregivers and troop leaders will guide their girls in completing activities. Please note: badges are not included in the registration fee and must be purchased separately through the GSLE shop if girls complete the requirements.
What to Bring
*Smart device (to access your digital packet; helps reduce paper waste)
*Printed or downloaded packet (sent by email two weeks before event)
*Backpack with notebook/sketch pad, writing/art supplies
*Bug repellent, sunscreen, personal water bottle
*Girl Scout uniform (girls are encouraged to wear theirs proudly!)
Logistics
*Will Call Table: Located outside the Zoo entrance. The person who purchased tickets must check in and pick up all tickets for their group before 11:45 a.m.
*Zoo Members: Please check in at the GSLE table for instructions on entering with your membership card.
Open to Non-Members
*Not a Girl Scout yet? No problem! Non-Girl Scouts are welcome to participate in the day's activities and will get a taste of what it means to be part of Girl Scouts. Visit our Membership Table to learn how to join!
