GSLE reserved 20 seats (12 girls and 8 adults) for the October 25, 2026, Lion King performance at the Saenger Theatre in New Orleans. The price covers the group rate of $85 a ticket. The seats are located in the balcony section rows L and M.
When registrations opens, it will be a first come first served basis. The event is only being offered to registered Girl Scouts and there will be no refunds given. You can however transfer your ticket(s) to another registered Girl Scout. No refunds will be issued until the substitute registered Girl Scout pays for the event.
PLEASE NOTE: If an adult signs up a Girl Scout individually, only one adult can sign up with the girl. If two or more girls register from the same household, only one adult can sign up with those girls. If a troop registers two or more girls - only two adults can register with them. Even if they register separately, we will take the first two troop adults registered and refund any remaining adults.
We have to turn in our numbers by August 28th so the deadline to register will be Wednesday, August 26th / 4 pm. If we do not have at least 10 registrations the event will be cancelled and your money refunded.
The council has limited seating, but you can order your own group tickets: Do you have 10 or more people who want to attend the Lion King? If so, you can contact Katy Tackett (KatyTackett@atgentertainment.com) to let her know you have a Girl Scout Troop that would like to find out information about Group Tickets for your Troop (separate from the GSLE Council group event). This is an option so family members who are not Girl Scouts can attend with you.
