Uniquely Us Badge Workshop Presented by the Sanxtuary STEAM Foundation
Puberty Pop-Up for girls Ages 8-14. Earn the Uniquely Us Badge while building confidence for life's next adventure!

Growing up is an exciting adventure, and every girl deserves to feel confident, informed, and supported along the way.

Join us for the Girl Scouts Puberty Pop-Up, an interactive, physician-led workshop designed specifically for Girl Scouts ages 8-14. Through hands-on activities, games, and open conversations, girls will learn about puberty in a fun, positive, and age-appropriate environment while building confidence, developing healthy habits, and celebrating what makes them unique.

Participants who complete the program will earn the Girl Scouts Uniquely Us Badge as they explore topics related to body changes, self-confidence, healthy relationships, and personal well-being.

Led by Dr. Amber Robins-Hickson, MD, MBA, board-certified family physician and founder of Sanxtuary MD and the Sanxtuary STEAM Foundation, this engaging experience provides medically accurate education in a safe, welcoming, and encouraging environment where girls can ask questions and feel empowered.

During the workshop, Girl Scouts will:

  • Learn what to expect during puberty and body changes
  • Understand the menstrual cycle and periods
  • Explore different period products and how to use them
  • Practice healthy hygiene and self-care habits
  • Learn when period symptoms are common and when it's important to seek medical care
  • Build confidence through interactive activities and discussion
  • Complete activities that fulfill the requirements for the Girl Scouts Uniquely Us Badge

Registration Includes:

  • Physician-led Puberty Pop-Up experience
  • Girl Scouts Uniquely Us Badge
  • Interactive activities and workshop materials
  • Puberty Confidence Kit
  • Educational take-home resources
  • A safe, supportive environment where every girl is encouraged to ask questions and learn with confidence
  • Parents can feel confident knowing the program is physician-led, evidence-based, and designed to make conversations about puberty easier, more positive, and empowering.

About the Instructor

Dr. Amber Robins-Hickson is a board-certified family physician, educator, and founder of Sanxtuary MD and the Sanxtuary STEAM Foundation, as well as a Girl Scout Gold Award Earner! Through physician-led education and community partnerships, she is on a mission to help every girl approach puberty with knowledge, confidence, and pride. Every Girl Scout deserves to grow up feeling confident, supported, and proud of her body. Join us for an unforgettable experience as you earn your Uniquely Us Badge!
